Last Confirmed Google PR (PageRank) Update was on 27th of June 2011. I will update this post whenever we will get any news about next Google PR (PageRank) Update of 2011.
It seems that Google has start updating Google PR (PageRank) Update for 2011 for the second time this year. It is a confirmed Google PR Update. Although many webmasters have still not got any PR Update, please remember that it may take some time to assign new PR to every domain and it is a continuous process. Good luck to everyone and finger crossed, who doesn’t have got PR update till now.

I dont think that google will update PR this month. Might be 4 or 5 months later. But i myself is waiting for google pr update, so that i will get any Page Rank. Although i have not done much of backlinking and all, but still may be we can start with PR2

many webmasters have confirmed that their google pagerank has shown some fluctuations in last 2 days, so all i can set till now is that it may be a minor update or it is just a beginning for a major update.

google does not officially announce the pr update. It can only be confirmed when too many webmaster see any pr change in their sites. It is confirmed when majority of webmasters encounters the pr change.

any updates on the May 2011 Pagerank update so far?
so if i have less than 100 back links can google assign me a pagerank or will i need to exceed 100 link incomming toget this? Will internal links help give me a high page rank? Mysite is one year old and i never goteven one pagerank. why?lol
Google page rank does not solely depend on backlinks, there are other factors too like your content, loyal visitors, internal linking, etc. Dont think of getting high pr by blasting your link via scrapebox and all, coz google penalise those sites in a long run, be loyal with your site. Hope you get pr in next update and me too.

Its the matter of quality backlink instead of quantity. If your site is getting 5 pr8 dofollow backlinks from the sites of your niche, then it is much more worth from 2000 pr0-pr2 irrelevant backlinks.
So dont spam 1000′s of sites with your link, instead try to find few high pr niche related sites. Hope this will help you.
Getting 5 pr8 links are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo difficult. I am looking for even 1 pr8 link which I can get.
I did not notice anything till now. I believe that till now, May 11, no update habe been performed.

I think google has made PR update but just gradually. I have 4 domains out of which my newest domain http://www.meronagar.com(bought 4 months ago) has become pr1 blog recently when I checked today(may 22,2011). I am happy because I got that with no effort.

Its not true to have one year old site to gain any PR, its your luck when Google Update it PR, if Google updates the PR, 3 months after you started your site, then it is very much possible that you will get the PageRank.

You dont need to have one year old domain to get pr update. More important is number of BL to your site and popularity.

Does anyone know of a decent PR graph (I know the algorithm has never be released) but a basic PR graph that a person can use as a reference guide to how many links (approximately… if there are under 50 posts) would it take to get a PR 1 , PR 2, PR 3 and so on.

Google has made ??a rank update in January 2011 but only until 10 June 2010.
Google changed the algorithm and they update PR with a delay of one year. For example, if a site on the net today barely climb over a year will see the Page Rank on it, no matter how many updates will Google do in this period.
This measure was taken primarily to “kill” those who sell and buy links and secondly to have available a year to develop a quality site without knowing where you are if you understand what i mean.

One of my new money sites just went from 0 to PR4 so happy about that and another went from PR 3 to PR4 and I have an internal page with no links that is PR3!

In my opinion, I think this PR update has a connection with Panda campaign Google expanded during many months ago. Content has the very important role in this PR update, the websites/blogs with good quality content, frequently refresh, unique & useful information will be ranked higher than low quality sites.

I feel there is a definite problem in google’s algorithm, which is why we have a double update within almost a month..maybe some problem with the bots google relies on so much… its so frustratingly bizarre, to say the least..

Don’t think we need to wait anymore. Our site, http://www.tangotango.no, just got a new PR. Went from PR2 to PR3 (but we had PR4 for a short while until July 27th).
My main blog URL got PR 4 and

It seems that google has made a recent PR update after 28th June. After 28th my site got PR 1, which is now PR 3. Has anyone also noticed the update?

There were actually a small pagerank update at the beginning of july, two of my sites got updated on the 2 July.!
But no matter what this still raises the question, whether this is a new strategy that they will keep updating the pagerank as often as they have over the summer.!
I really hope that they will, because it would give webmaster a better bargin tool when selling ads.
