If you ever wanted to create space on your desktop and minimise all the inactive windows at one go, then here is a simple and fast way to do so just by a shortcut key.
If you are distracted by multiple windows on a large monitor, just use the button combination [Win]+[Home] to minimise all windows except the currently active one in a single stroke. You can use the same button combination a second time to immediately restore the hidden windows again in their positions on the desktop.
This allows you to quickly see what’s happening on your desktop, without disrupting work in your active window. This also helps you in times when windows 7′s transparency effects are distracting you by letting inactive background windows shine through.
