Galaxy Note, one of the best Android phone in the market, has got a leaked Android 4.0 (Ice-cream sandwich) ROM. This firmware is based on Android 4.0.3 and is named as I9220ZSLP1. This ROM is only for testing purpose, as it is only a leaked version and may cause harm to your phone, so it is advised that new users should not try to update their Galaxy Note to ICS Leaked ROM.
Currently it is expected that Galaxy Note will receive an official stable update to Android 4.0 (ICS) near the end of April this year, but still there is no confirmation from Samsung. This year Samsung has remained quite secretive in disclosing their upcoming devices and firmware updates. Already there are rumors about the release date and specs of Samsung Galaxy S3.
Although developers at XDA are working hard to get the ICS working on many capable phones before the update is rolled out by the companies. We can already see that XDA developers have ported a stable version of ICS to Samsung Galaxy S, although it has already been announced by Samsung that there will be no Ice-cream sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S.
