Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) Releasing Soon..??

February 17, 2012 | Posted in Technology | By

Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) is releasing in the second quarter of this year. Although currently Android 4.0 (Ice cream sandwich) has not been incorporated in all the phones, and there are rumors in the market that Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) is about to release in the 2nd quarter. It is rumored that Google wants to launch Android 5.0 near the date of launch of Windows 8, so that the same can be integrated in tablet/notebook.

It will be interesting to see that how mobile companies will schedule the release of Android 4.0 and Android 5.0 in near future for their old phones like Samsung Galaxy S2, that are still comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3.6 (Ginger bread), as it may take time to customize the operating systems quickly. Although it can be taken as the new mobile phones will comes pre-loaded with Android 5.0 but the mobile companies cannot under-look the current gingerbread devices and it will be quite tough for them to release the updates frequently for all the capable phones.

Android 5 (Jelly Bean)

It seems that Google wants to compete with Apple iOS 5, and is giving its 110% to capture the whole mobile market with Android. It also seems that mobile companies are quite slower in scheduling the updates for their pre-existing devices. But currently it seems to be a rumor that Android 5.0 will be releasing in the second quarter of this year. The only thing we can do right now is to wait for any official announcement from Google itself.
